Just buy whatever you listen to, take it from someone who has around 500 in their collection now. If you’re specifically looking for rare albums, then you’re collecting for the wrong reasons. I’ve gone through various waves in what albums I try to add and when I was specifically looking for rare, higher value albums, that’s when the hobby was the least fun for me (because I was caring too much about the condition and value of the LP itself when I got it as opposed to the actual music on it)

If you want to add a cool album to your p-funk collection though, the og presses of funkentelechy vs the placebo syndrome came with a poster and a comic book and those are probably my favorite inserts that came with any album in my collection

idk about rarity but imo physical media is only worth getting if you're actually going to use it often, otherwise its just kinda sitting on ur shelf accumulating dust, and then, kinda pointless
