Bruh for real how'd I miss that. That s***s timeless
Dam remember this s***
ah yes, back when I was using yt to mp3 for my ipod touch and didn't listen to albums and just listened to like the same 5-10 songs I liked until I got tired of them
Anyways here's what I was into:
French House was like the first genre I ever got into, this EP might've been the first album I ever bought on iTunes
Idk why but even though the song samples It's Always Sunny, the MV samples Dawn of the Dead (1978), I always envisioned an MV for this song using clips from that Spike TV show 1000 Ways to Die
I used to sit on the school bus and think about everyone I knew in Chem class having a dance-off to this for some reason haha
probably my favorite out of the three listening to them now
just more cool disco-sampling stuff
ngl whenever this topic gets brought up I always feel a little insecure because I got into hiphop kinda late into my formative years
I honestly didn't start really listening to rap music until I started college (prior I had heard gkmc and 2014 FHD, but they were definitely exceptions)
but looking back and seeing how into sampled stuff I was it kinda makes sense that I would gravitate towards a genre literally built off of that now so that's cool
TL; DR House music fuccin owns
Damn u were in hs for a fun time. Always wish i was in hs for the early 00s then college for the late 00s.
