Honestly I was disappointed with most mainstream Hip-Hop this year. I almost thought this was going to be a repeat of 2014 but Drake and 21 really delivered something I didn't even know I needed in my life. It was the best rap album by a mile no question. Hands down one of the best albums in both artists discographies

So many good moments to me. One of my favorite rap years in a long time. My favorite moment isn’t necessarily about rap, but a rapper. Honestly, Nevermind proved to me that Drake could drop something that was not only a passion project but strayed from the formulaic success he built. The album is divisive but hell what would art be without that right?

It's not rap but that album was my favorite moment in music this year no doubt opinions are divided but a bold move from someone in his position that paid off. Without it we wouldn't have Flights Booked or Liability, so many classic songs
