The track was and remains tabloid level trash. He got buzz for spilling tea on Drake having a son, for the false blackface accusation, and for talking ill about Drake’s parents and 40.
Duppy Freestyle >>>> Story of Adidon
i tried to give you benefit of the doubt I thought you meant to say trying you talkin nonsense boy wake up
You on here tryna front like a drake fan but aint know push was spinning a narrative in that track ? Lmao sounds like a you problem
Real quick don’t use Terrance as a “corny name” to make it seem like push not real
We listen to Aubrey Graham from Degrassi talk about spinning blocks.
That's his name
That's his name
Yes it is, and that’s why I was telling that other user that it’s pointless to call Push “Terrance” to make him sound corny when Drake has a government name too that’s much less threatening lol

He sold to college kids for nike and mercedes 🤣 he about as real as Drake spinning blocks.

I can’t just roll with that , but I do believe his raps are embellished lol
Facts
Always confuses me that no one picks up on these contradictions
Initial reaction was that it's a wild track of course. But after a few listens I was let down because of these contradicitions and the lack of actual bars and rapping. Was spinning daytona heavily at the time too and thought tsoa was a lot worse than any of the tracks on there. Was hoping for more bars back and forth but because he stooped to the tmz level, we never got that Drake response.

No malice in his heart my boy. He’s actually a nice guy lmao

What are you even really saying with this? Of course Push was spinning a narrative , like plenty of people itt said it was public info
Only thing we didn’t and don’t know is if adidon is real
Trying to get engagement on Father's Day
Y'all ain't got a dad?
I can’t lie I felt bad when I realized a made this on Father’s Day lol I called my pops early and took a nap earlier
Trying to get engagement on Father's Day
Y'all ain't got a dad?
That last sentence kinda wack tho bro not gonna lie
As a Drake fan I’m biased, but it was the equivalent of shooting someone in the d***. It works, but it’s cowardly. Push def a cowardly nigga imo.

You must’ve missed the press release from the Adidas rep that debunked this myth that adonis was gonna be revealed with this collab. Lmao yea just educate yourself man. This beef was 3 years ago

Who’s to say Drake wasn’t gonna do it at the same time just on his own though? Like an IG post?
If that was a possibility then we’d be back in a circle to Ye giving push the info lmao. Unless 40 was pillow talking that heavy
This is a good question. The cover art leaked first so my initial reaction was ok and? He's half Black so it's not career ending. Is it a bit weird for a black man to be in blackface? Yes but not what everyone hyped it up to be.
Then I heard the track. I was more so hyped for Drake's reply but the bars about 40 got me amped ngl. I tried to be cool about it and not be the typical Drake stan getting angry but they got to me and I wanted to Drake to go to the trenches with Push but alas we know how it went.
i yawned and went on the defense for drake. i found racist tweets by pusha and sent them to every radio station/ online news source like tsr.
I was amused by the cover. As the song played I knew Pusha T was running Drake's s*** but once he said the "tick tick tick" line I was like "GOD DAMN!", he completely floored me. I couldn't believe he went at 40 so viciously. I knew the beef was over. Pusha T won. I was a little disgusted that he dissed 40 but also surprised and shocked that someone finally defeated Drake in a beef. After Duppy Freestyle dropped, I was convinced that Drake was invincible and could never be beat in a beef. I was wrong.
Well, I was kinda late to the whole beef. I saw Duppy was released while on my way to school and waited until I got home to read up on the situation.
So once I got home later that day I had started reading about the beef and like 10 minutes later TSOA was released. I originally thought people were trolling when they said he had released TSOA, but they were not lying.
So I listened to TSOA and it felt kinda empty. The 40 line was the only one that I felt needed to be addressed at the time. So I knew Drake didn’t have to respond, but I wanted him to. It felt crazy hearing a man talk crazy on 40’s name.
After a few weeks though I got over it. I also watched Joe Budden's podcast with Pusha and that’s when Pusha’s lies became very obvious. Like he played a voice recording of some girl and claimed she was fishing for info for Drake’s diss
I was like man that’s a random phone call.
