yeah i was really surprised by the reception of that album…their previous records were wayyyy more engaging and entertaining imo. the new album just felt very neutered

Poland was gas, I loved that first boat project. Thought he could really pull off something unique. It just sounds like someone wanted to copy the tame Impala sound with worse vocals. Was not a fan at all outside of that Radiohead interpolation. Rather listen to king gizzard or any psychedelic band
