Kids born in 2002-2003 are coming of age to be the next generation of breakthrough rappers. Expect the return of oversized throwback jerseys (but being worn in a hipster, 'ironic' way) and Just Blaze sampled-soul type beats, except with more elaborate structure and additional synth work.

imma steal this formula and make beats for rappers and act like i made the sauce

lets leave this type of nonsense in the 2010s lol

People got a tendency to look backwards for inspiration. They want to be like the generation that was before them, not relive trends they experienced when they were like 10. The throwback era seems just far back enough that 2002 kids would remember it but never really got to indulge in it. That's my theory at least, so imma go buy some Mitchell & Ness stocks and dump them when the 2002 kids turn 25. Lmao

I got no doubt that flamboyant jerk style and music will come back around in due time though. I mean those fits ain't really that different from the various jiggy eras of the 90s.

Stop calling everything boomer. Stupid insult. NY drill is buzzing right now, and eventually there will be another "college" type music era where the lyrics are valued again.

Just messing with ya. I’m hoping for some sort of resurgence too.

“Neo-Rap“ takes over the scene by 2023 around the time the new Matrix & Blade Movies come out. Society embraces the dystopian aesthetic and niggas is walking around in leather jackets and sun glasses in dark rooms .”while industrial rap beats are playing Glitchy beats and rappers rapping in code tying(cyber language )and street terms as the black market:deep web is the backdrop for illegal activities.

Music gonna get futuristic but the vibes will actually be more fun and colorful than this generation.

  • the next wave in rap will be white and it’ll be pop punk meets trap. It’ll be the sound for alt chicks/dudes and will be built on tiktok

  • you need more funk concepts in your instrumentals.

    everything is on the one

add bridges and work on making a motown song
that clocks in at 3 minutes.

plus learn / figure out sample manipulation and songwriting techniques.

I just gave you some major tips use them.

Rock , Rap, R&B, Funk, & House Music will merge into one genre known as rap. will definitely sound psychedelic in nature tho. just look at the beats we like right now.
