they dont hold power is what i said

white people hold power in white america. more at 11.

it wasn’t the homophobia it was that at the time dababy was doing a lot of s*** to distract from the music and when that happened it was like everyone collectively said stfu and red light green light was his first song after and the people clowned the beat

he was already fading away before rolling loud that’s fact

I think that whole ordeal fast forwarded the progress a lot but realistically I don’t see him making it out of 2022 otherwise

We not listening to that homophobic bigot anymore

This standard of expecting a genre that comes from the most violent impoverished communities in the country to be full of tolerant perfect socially progressive artists, one trenched in hypermasculinity and in this example a guy that has literally killed someone on record, who did that incident only like a year or two after having money for the first time in his life then holding them to that standard their whole career, is a bit unrealistic and silly to me tbh.

its wild that a black man has to cater to white gays to have a career as a musician

the idea of gays or gays that have a problem with homophobia only being white is p harmful ur doing a Dave chapelle

ya’ll got him out of here quicker than you did Morgan Wallen for being racist directly to a black man but salute i guess

To be fair, the main type of people that listen to Morgan wallen are not “yall” it’s mostly ppl that agree with him or have family with those views

“Catering to white gays” means not being homophobic apparently? That’s just catering to gays in general. U think poc gays weren’t outraged too or have the same self respect I don’t get it?

He’s a better pure rapper than Travis Carti Uzi lol

  • He can start by making music that's actually good. Which he frequently fails to do.

Sure. But his music isn't interesting and he isn't all that versatile. It's a lotta better "pure rappers" than Travis, Carti, and Uzi. That isn't a high bar lmao
