    100-120 grams of protein last time I was counting

    I cook all my food myself and eat a ton of oatmeal, rice, beans, make my own seitan, frozen veggies, peanut butter.

    I also live in the midwest which helps

    beans - less than $1 for a can (easy to prep)
    chickpeas - less than $1
    lentils - less than $1
    tofu - $2-4 very versatile

    carbs:
    raw oats - $2-3
    rice - $3-5 (lasts a month)

    fruits:
    bananas - 0.10c ea
    apples
    blueberries
    strawberries

    veggies:
    broccoli
    carrotts
    brussels
    kale
    spinach

    fats:
    almonds
    peanuts
    cashews

    staples:
    olive oil
    sriracha
    soy sauce
    peanut butter - $3-5
    honey - $4-6 (lasts a month)

    BF:
    1 Canister oatmeal - 2.50
    1 pack frozen blueberries - 2.00
    1 carton almond milk: 2.00
    Some coffee - 2.00 per weekish

    Lunch:
    1 Box whole wheat Pasta - 1.00
    2 cans chickpeas - 1.50
    1 can artichoke hearts - 2.00
    1 pack spinach - 1.50
    Garlic - 1.00

    Dinner:
    Yellow onions: 2.00
    Bell peppers - 3.00
    2 packs of tempeh: 4.00
    Different frozen veggies - 3.00
    1 lb brown rice - 2.00

    Snacks:
    Canister of peanuts - 2.00
    Bag of sunflower seeds - 2.00
    Big thing of raisins - 3.00
    Some bananas - 2.00

    About $35, plus I keep a big tub of protein powder around and usually a big thing of peanut butter for my oatmeal
