I used to like making whiskey nog, especially with crown black. But mi mama hates it and egg nog is one of the only hard alcohol drinks she likes so I shifted over to rum full time when celebrating with the folks

For mixed drinks usually a Puerta Rican clear rum or captain Morgan white

KRAKEN Spiced rum is way stronger at like 48%, and is so rich I just drink it on its own on ice

Rum is a way more mellow buzz than the rest, def my "at home" drink

And yeah it def is the sweetest of the alcohols, which is why its flavor is such a big part of how they make store bought egg nog lol
