Light 10

Amazing album. Great production. Quality level is very concistent throughout the whole tracklist. Still we get some new vibes (Die Trying). Has the potential to be my favorite Drake album.
Few nitpicks for now are the noticable autotune at some moments, the loudness of the vocals in some songs and that certain parts of songs could be longer (first part of Moth Balls, Outro of Crying in Chanel).

i'm slowly digesting the album and still getting familiar with it... taking my time with it and only listening during special moments when the time is right and i'm wavy and gaming...

what songs have been clicking for y'all? interestingly i just listened to When He's Gone slowed + reverb and it clicked for me even though that was like my second listen

I can’t believe I’m saying this but it might actually clear Her Loss, and I love that album.

Great melodies, beat choices and chemistry throughout. Too many highlights to name. Even some of the weaker songs people don’t like I actually think are not bad. Meet Your Padre is goofy but it’s fun. Way better than Gently.

Still think some of the rap songs could’ve been taken out though. Album long asl as it is. Just keep it R&B all the way through. Either way it’s a solid 8/10 rn

Another Incredible offering from The Boy and Party! But we already know how special they both are!

Idk how to summarize it all.. but that “When he’s gone” verse from Drake is HOF status

Solid album, my only skip is lasers. I just don't f*** with it some reason. Big shout out to greedy

R&B album is something I always wanted from Drake and my favorite Drake songs of all time has been R&B.. but I wish I could enjoy this album like the rest of fans enjoys it. It's very boring to me and there is like only 4 songs that I can say is decent. His worst R&B song from FATD is better than any tracks on this album. It's bottom Drake album for me below HNVM.

Are the songs you don't like actual unlistenable for you or just skips?

3/10 for me would mean that most of the music is so bad, I pretty much cannot physically listen to it.

Pretty much skips but there is like 17-18 skips for me so I would say it is overall bad

I can listen to them but I don't enjoy them at all. It's not discomfort or anything lol just very very boring

I like it but I like a lot of what Drake puts out. I agree there are a few songs that could’ve been cut for the sake of of streamlining and/or focusing specifically on the R&B but that’s Drake he’s going to give you a bit of everything. Happy to hear more Party as well. I think they probably both could’ve made a better tape ten years ago but I’m happy to have it nonetheless. So many growers on here

i feel 5/10 means mid if its very very boring that's lower. if u listen to a mid album what u rate it 7/10?

very average too long n not much really creative couple high points but could've literally scrapped half of it off first listen bout to listen again

5/10 is neither good or bad. Boring does not mean that it sounds bad, just not interesting. So the boring tracks would probably be rated 4-5/10. Add the few enjoyable tracks (7/10 or higher) and it could be a 5-5.5/10 overall in the aggregate.

to me boring is bad if i go on a date n someone asks how was it n i say boring its understood it was a bad date never seeing them again same with music ill never be listening again (except i will to double check it wasn't as horrible as the first time i listened ha) everyone rates stuff differently though interesting to hear other peoples perceptions

Maybe it's because I make beats and therefore always can find something interesting in a song or at least can recognize that everything is in key or something like that.

If I like an artist a lot normally they don't have songs below a 6/10 rating for me
