I don't want to spend too much in case it's not for me

For guitar try to stay around 120-150
Any squire guitar and whatever model you like. They’re pretty good especially for their price. Stratocasters are the cheapest I think. Any in particular you have an interest in?

And If you want an amp go for about 100$ it’s not too cheap and the sound quality will be good

Squiers are decent. If u plan on taking it somewhat serious id go for a Mexican fender strat

Orange cr20rt is a great little amp I use, I like it more because it has amazing cabsim when you use the headphone/aux out port that is an incredible tone, even compared to the speaker

the reason I say go a little more expensive on guitar is that with quality you really notice it in the feel of it, and playability is sacrificed. and that’s what matters most, it’s what’ll keep you playing longer

I'd recommend whatever you can find used in your area that's in your price range. Most used instruments are barely touched and you can get them playing like new if you bring them to your local guitar shop and get them tuned up.

Brand doesn't really matter that much. Just find something that fits your style.

u still stand by the Orange cr20rt? boutta buy my first amp and petals and looking for something that can serve as a "sort-of" investment in the sub-200 range, if you get what I mean

yee, also I recommend marshall jackhammer pedal cause it’s basically amp drive sound in a box so no matter what you amp you get it should sound good. But only ever use the OD mode and never the distortion

should be able to pick one up for $50-90
