Y'all have got to stop threatening people with "Under Trump the genocide will continue!" when the genocide is currently going on...and escalating, under somebody who is supposedly "easing the tensions" despite reality showing otherwise.
Because I'm 100% positive that Palestinians don't like the "less than bad" option either, because that "less than bad" option was literally VP to the president who was actively sending money and weapons to the force that is responsible for enacting genocide upon them, and has also said that she supports Israel and has taken donation money from Israeli organizations.
But those are quite literally the only choices here. Neither are good, one is just worse. They’re gonna be affected by whichever choice is made.

Yeah I'm not going back and forth with this anymore dude lol
If you're able to get behind the side that was actively sending money and weapons to Israel, giving them the means to enact and continue a genocide, and still call them a "lesser evil" then go for it. I hope you're able to justify it however you can. But frankly I don't care to hear it, and it kinda just ends up supporting my original post about normalizing "the lesser of two evils" is weird.

Seemingly, our government is going to continue to do that. But we can at-least dictate to some extent how they’ll go about it. I understand the morals of not wanting to “support” either candidate, but one of them is winning regardless. If there’s one that’s more ideal, then it makes sense to vote for them.
Like you said, we can dead it here. I really can’t agree with the logic of your argument but you helped me understand it a bit better. You have a nice day big voodoo
When there’s a big enough movement to get behind, I can buy into this argument. But that’s just not where we are. Kamala plans on reinstating Roe V Wade, that’s a big issue to me. I don’t feel comfortable with the idea of protesting the election knowing the outcome of a Trump presidency would continue to strip away progress, when I could’ve just voted for a more ideal. This just feels completely counterproductive.
Bruh how many dems have said they're gonna codify roe v wade? They're never gonna actually so that, you know they need those rights to be in jeopardy to get your vote.
And that's the thing, you BUILD that movement. Now if you're not willing to do the work that goes into building class power from the place where we're at now. Sure. But don't talk down on those who correctly see it as a necessity to do so. Especially because electorally there is only a range of different flavors of evil.

Bro r u fr? How they do genocide is enough for you?
I hope you take a moment to really think about what you're saying right here.
Hopefully you feel a little disgust and shame and it can help you be better. Palestinians deserve better than white leftists saying they should suck it up and take the rainbow genocide.
KTT keeping me hip, i wouldn’t have known about skibidi and glue no borax until I saw them here
Then there’s the fanun tax, I still got no idea what that’s refering to
nigga just saying words in this post I'm dying

I’m not talking down on anybody? I agree that you need to build a movement, but it’s quite literally not there at the moment. We’re not going to see an ideal course of action taken by our government when it comes to Israel, at this point in time. What we can do, is lessen the atrocities we commit to atleast some extent.
This is also such a difficult position for me to process because you can do both of these things simultaneously.

Obviously not, I’ve never framed it that way either. Don’t virtual signal with me Mr Mamba, we’re on the same side here. I just don’t see the value in not helping prevent Trump take office.
Like that response was pretty s***ty man cmon
“Supper”
Anyone using it (usually of Caucasian descent) should be executed via firing squad
Ain't never met one white girl who said this lmao
I just don’t understand the logic in this. A ton of leftists that I find to be really smart, think this way too. Even if Kamala is only 5% better than Trump, that feels like reason enough to vote for her. We don’t have a leftist party, voting is merely a preventative measure.
imo i think its silly to assume any president will make a difference. we f***ed either way

I'm not virtue signaling and we're not on the same side if your politics is to vote for somebody who is for a "less worse" genocide of Palestinians, instead of actually resisting that genocide. Don't put that on me.
Like that response was pretty s***ty man cmon
It's s***ty that almost 200k Palestinians have been killed since october 7th, i rly don't care about anybody getting their feelings hurt about this when a people is being exterminated with the help of somebody you're planning to vote for, sorry if you find that "shitty"
I didn't know that "gipped" was a racist term and now I feel bad and find it weird how much it's used.
wym

Then BUILD THE MOVEMENT
I know it's not easy, but don't do any moral grandstanding on somebody not wanting to vote for the lesser genocide when you're not willing to do the work of building something that does not yet exist.

Our government is gonna continue to support this genocide whether you vote or not. Protesting the election doesn’t change that, and it shouldn’t make you feel better about yourself. Kamala presidency is more ideal for those people than Trump. Both are bad, one is worse.
You’re not doing those people any favors by protesting the vote. I don’t care if Kamala is only 5% better when it comes to her position on Israel, it’s better.

Alright, I’ll get right on that. Me and all my leftist friends are gonna create a vanguard party before the election and overthrow the government. This is a very practical thought.

But you’re cool with the possibility of having this happen more swiftly by allowing the more evil candidate to win? Protesting the election isn’t the morally good choice here.

You're only acting as if this weak satire is the only possible option besides voting to feel more comfortable with your lack of action besides voting for blasian led Palestinian genocide.
If you actually want to do something, find a local organizations that are organizing for Palestine and see how you can contribute. S*** I'd even help you find one.
But don't come with this bullshit. It's cowardice.
