Take the most intense job you can find and work for 6 months. Work at a wharf and scale fish. Work at an airport. Something that pushes you
That jus sounds depressing but i get the concept. Smth that releases endorphins and teaches a skill/useful knowledge
Bro find a sales position or a retail sales position make you some money and boom
Go back to school

If im depressed id rather make money while im in it ya know. Routine is a major step in finding time to heal yourself

How old are you @op ? Dropping out and just working seems like the easy route right now but you’ll be entering the job market as unskilled labor, and there is a very low ceiling on that kind of work.
I know how you feel I went through the exact same thing. Dropped out and then Spent half of my 20s working bullshit jobs before I finally found a real career path that would make me some real money.
I suggest working and getting into therapy. A life coach would be a good idea once you’ve made progress with your depression. That way you can find a path that will work for you. Getting into a Trade is a good path. Plumbing, Electrical, Truck driving, HVAC etc..

im turnin 24 in march, when i finished hs i did a gap year and then 3 years of this sort of work-school program thing where i worked an office job for a company on s***ty pay while attending like community college level typa school i guess, its some weird thing they have for i guess trades here (?) its exclusive to germany
also im studying english and never really went in with the intention of seeking the big bucks and solely because out of interest and "passion" so i dont think itd have a huge negative impact if i was to drop out no?

Ok I’m not sure what the cost of living in Germany is, but you’ll have to make enough to support yourself regardless. The office job you described sounds like what we would call an “apprenticeship” here in the states.
Pursuing your “passion” is a good thing and would probably help with your mental health but there is the possibility that it will not benefit you financially. Give yourself some time to get therapy to address your depression. Hitting the gym regularly will also work wonders for your depression too. Once you have a clean bill of health and a cocktail of medication (should you need it), life coaching would be a logical next step to give you a sense of direction.
