Leaving aside Kdot for the moment, since he hasn't begun an album rollout. . .

Both Travis and Drake have started the rollout for their albums slated for a release in 2021 - Both haven't dropped a full-length project since summer 2018.

Numbers-wise, these two projects will be comparative and will no doubt be blockbuster hip/hop drops that will define the soundscape of 2021.

I feel like both of them are also in similar situations in relation to COVID. Clearly CLB has gone through several iterations, but the general consensus is it is basically complete. Drake is holding out for the pandemic to lessen before he drops.

Travis is most likely doing the exact same thing, both of these guys rely heavily on the post-album tour.

Who do you guys think will take the plunge first and drop before the other?

Over half of Astros sales were bundles and his last few singles flopped in comparison to Sicko Mode. It's obviously not just COVID that's making him delay his album. Drake was in the top 3 most streamed artists of 2020 (behind Juice Wrld and Bad Bunny) off a bunch of leaks we can stop pretending they're in the same tier. Those leaks and possible future leaks are why CLB keeps getting delayed
