What you using to make these?

photoshop import frames to layers.
pick a timestamp u like
crop it just to the area of the video.
resize to 500px width (stuck with me from tumblr days)
window -> timeline
delete layers you don't need.
file -> save for web
use 256 colors, imgur supports high size gifs these days so you dont have to sacrifice quality.

much simpler if you are using premiere pro imo

probably yeah. i never opened premiere in my life, but i bet it's way easier to work with videos than photoshop lmao

premiere pro is pretty simple to use if you are familiar with the basics(photoshop, lightroom). for motion tracking however i have heard after effects is the one to go(and not frame by frame tracking on premiere pro) but if you ever opened after effects you would think they made that s*** for rocket scientists

learning curve is ridiculous. i somehow found myself in 'cameras' by accident and realized i could create a 3D environment within my imported videos which are in essence already a 3D environment. almost had an aneurysm xD
