the thing about science ppl dont understand is you have different fields with different levels of progression

like engineering and physics are almost complete. there are few discoveries left and most of what is physically possible has been explored

then you have biology, which is like 10% understood. and its hell being a biologist because everything you want to do takes years to complete and costs hella money. worst part is you never know if what youre studying is relevant to humans because we cant experiment on humans (which is a good thing). like we dont know how a single particular organ develops from inception to adulthood, no one could tell you the processes that regulate its size/density/shape etc.
