Favorite? Not sure, it honestly all depends on the context. My post was inspired by the sub of Evangelion that I have. I downloaded the vhs versions recently and was surprised that the caption heavy episodes dont hit the same.

The font in question is literally just a bold Times New Roman lmao. But its very effective to me in this context

Thats a great pick, I’ve always found those covers very elegant and satisfying even though I’ve never picked one up. I always kinda liked fonts that blend bold and thin lines too.

I think a similar theme of my picks are a really satisfying balance of angles and curves (the Evangelion title font not the TNR subs)

It feels personal like someone could’ve written it in marker but still feels “official” and classic.
