first off each beat u make is hit or miss

then you have to consider which artist that beat fits with

then you have to actually get the beat to the artist

THEN you have to pray that the artist will actually use the beat

Even if the beat is a perfect match, theres a very low chance everything lines up and you get the placement unless youre well established

But thats ignoring the first point, which is you have to make a good beat in the first place lmao. After all that s*** youre getting very low pay unless, as before, youre established. Its really a s***ty gig

The worst part is youll make 100 dope beats, place 5-10, and have so many left over that are probably really good. Artists dont like rapping over crazy instrumentals. Theres so much amazing music no one hears because no rapper decided to go over it.
