Working in IT has been mostly fine for me

But just had my first real experience with the bad side of “Corporate Culture” and it was enough for me to consider a career change lol

At the very least im looking for new a new job in the same career but ideally wanna change paths if i can

What happen (I'm also looking to change jobs and probably career I will make a thread soon)

Basically there was a deployment and my manager was ill so i had to sit in as the main tester

While they were deploying they must've f***ed up and i missed part of it while i was testing

So this morning we had a group call with managers and the depolyment manager basically just blamed it on me and in nice words called me a liar and that i didnt miss the error but i never even tested it (mind you he didnt just say it once he kept circling back to it)

Like even if that was true as the most senior person on the call why would you go out of you way to blame the most junior person who you know is covering for a managers role just cos he was ill

It’s time to find a new job smh. My job nutty as hell g mfs got the camera view above us at the desk available for every resident to watch on tv like it’s a show or something. They already nitpick everything we do. I don’t do stuff I’m not supposed to be doing but I hate the idea that they have residents watching us on the tv.

Management don't give a f*** towards our safety and well-being, so i told them that amongst other claims of being unprofessional and mismanagement and they didn't like my "tone" so they suspended me.
