True! I didn't even think of that because I was thinking more of "traditional" art like drawing or painting, but photoshop, video editing, graphic design, etc is a great idea as well. So I do think it's good that she has a passion for art and she should pursue it, but she should pursue it: just in this short exchange we've each come up with a few potential things she could do, and I'm sure she's thought of all of these and more, so really she just has to actually do stuff and try things out, see what she likes, what works, what paths open up, and keep going from there.

tried chatting her about it and ofc met by negativity “i don’t want to be a cringy youtuber tho” (let it be known she’s expressed possibility of trying to make it big on youtube tiktok, this aint just something i even mentioned at first)

Yeah probably the best thing you can do is just continue to support her with making a change when you can, but mostly just be there for her as a friend. Like I said, unfortunately it’s very hard to rationally convince people to make a change in their life, and if they are trying to convince themselves, it’s very easy to make excuses (like the tweet says, “if I succeed then X bad thing will happen” is an extremely common cope for not doing anything) or procrastinate. Somehow (maybe spurred by a failure or missed opportunity?) they themselves have to realize they need to make a change, and not just abstract desire for change but concrete steps.
