My life would have been very different if I had watched the Serial Experiments Lain episode about Vannevar Bush, John C Lilly, and Ted Nelson at a younger age
Killing myself in front of the beautiful Indian girl & beautiful Chinese girl I saw in the supermarket to change their bond & the trajectory of their lives
I forgot how much I missed just discovering new bands and chilling on a cold afternoon and blissfully listening to music
I had a disastrous first year at university, and I concluded (not entirely erroneously) that Thus was partly due to my having taken classes in computer science and statistics (looking back, the stats class was indeed a waste but the CS classes were worthwhile). The thing is that my problems had many causes, and my academics were not that high on the list, but I felt it was the only one that was under my control, and I reoriented entirely towards my main interests in the humanities. However, I now really regret not going further with CS, and not exploring more of math and the sciences, particularly biology, which I enjoyed and excelled at in high school, but also physics, as now I lack both the intelligence and the concentration to learn them myself, and I lack the conviction to return to university.
ctfu i been on the same boat but with chem and bio instead of cs now im more interested in humanities like philosophy or history loved pretty much loved all the natural sciences in hs but uni changes a man

I had a rly bad time when I first went to college too, ended up extremely depressed. Turned out I was bipolar and I needed to find my medication regiment
It's tough but the truth is you sort of have to devote your entire life to school if u wanna go that route

You can succeed no matter what you study so it doesn't matter too much. The key is to succeed because success builds on success and staying on track isn't very difficult but getting back to where you should be after falling off track takes a huge amount of effort. I don't even regret studying the humanities, I really love them and I am confident I will succeed from now on, but I do regret everything else surrounding my studies and my sloth and indifference in that time period, which I am now having to make up for.

These are some liberal bullshit. I call on Americans to riot if they are ever introduced in the United States
