Debt collectors are after me because the hospital coded my 3 minute medicine follow up as an entire physical so I owe them a $500 copay. The doctor who made this error now practices at another hospital in another state. My insurance is not cooperating with me and has suggested that they think I’m trying to carry out fraud. I’m getting dozens of calls from unsaved numbers every day and tons of mail from the collectors.
