People ask for your roots/origins, it usually means u look unique in a good way

So many people randomly ask me;
"Ayo I have to ask, what's your roots?"

I'd think why would u even ask a stranger that

i didnt know this, i was just f***ing w the profs as people and started working w them and then found out they had solo or lead author'd like 1000 citation count papers in Nature and Science, and some really seminal works beyond those
