these older folks think the economy and market is fine, they say oh yea standards for jobs are higher but thats a GOOD thing! it means you get to work harder for less pay and make me richer! and if you cant find a job youre just a failure or not trying hard enough!

im watching this dude talk about how the only way to get a job is via internships. theyll completely ignore all the people who cant get an internship for various reasons. people werent even talking about industry internships until recently, i didnt even know that was a thing till i got into grad school. people arent even gonna acknowledge a problem until its too late to reverse. again, humans are stupid and selfish

idk enough about communism but the whole idea of late stage capitalism combined with overpopulation is pretty terrifying. theres simply too much competition and not enough need for labor

i got an internship during my senior year of college cause i put down music production on my resume. totally unrelated to the position. the managers just liked that i put that on there which helped me get the job lol

ive done internships in academia, never in industry tho.

that is pretty crazy lol, i kinda have a similar story for my first internship, i was like idk how to code but i make fire beats somehow that worked lmao
