Oct 27, 2019Smacked VoodooMet a weird guy today. I was getting some wings and he had just got off the bus when he approached me. He asked me "Do you know what's the closest town here?" Naturally I'm f***ing confused and give him that "Nigga are you high?" look. He attempts to clarify with "I mean any civilization?"...horrible clarification. So what's I get done telling him where he's at he tells me he just got released from prison and everything looks different from what he remembered, and he genuinely didn't know where he was or where he was going to.
I can't imagine how long he's been locked up or the things that happened. Dude looked absolutely lost and I hate that I wasn't able to really help him because he didn't know where he was going. I don't think he had anywhere to really go.
I wished him luck and went to get my food. I actually ordered something else so I could get some money to give to him. I gave him two options. Either go to the town's municipal building so they can help figure out who he knew around here because there had to be a reason why he got off the bus in my town. Or he could take the next bus to NYC.
I hope dude will be alright.
