got promoted last week, first shift as a supervisor starts at the end of the hour.

it’s a temp job i do every year, but i kinda feel conflicted about the promotion.

i got told i deserve it and got a pay rise (albeit it not much but it’s good money) it’s my third year working it so yeah i kinda do.

although it’s a promotion idk if they’ve just done it to keep me happy as i mentioned it a few weeks back to the owner who has a close relationship with most of the staff including myself

they gave a more experienced older guy who’s partner is a supervisor a straight up bar supervisor role and it’s his first year...mine is predominantly a kitchen supervisor, out of the way. i’m good at my job and i won’t quit over it, just seems kinda sketch. i’ll still do FOH supervisor shifts tho.

anyways, more money isn’t bad
