I think the house scene that Mall Grab, DJ Seinfeld, Ross From Friends, Salute currently live in is the most thriving house scene right now I think.

Europe, NYC, Japan, Korea, pretty much every big music scene is big with this house genre (kinda fast house, kinda lofi inspired house, idk what to name it exactly)

I can see that. House remaining consistent and on the upward genre trends wise. Idk if you go out but I'm sure radio/club hits reigning supreme

Jersey club goes in that same category it seems, drill/club music and faster tempos

How you feel about new jazz, pluggnb, jersey club and the longevity?

Tbh man I have no clue. My gut tells me in 5 years there will be new waves that sink all of those you listed. Jersey club really having its moment and I’m from Jersey myself so it’s cool, maybe it lasts, who knows. It’s (trends are) always evolving.

In VA and NC I’d say trap is definitely the most thriving locally. Pulled up to an event to buy some weed and it turned out to be a gutted residential house with a like 8 diff people in the crib selling that za.

Went in the backyard and this nigga wit a shiesty mask starts rappin , sound system going and everything.

I kinda jus laughed it off as jus anothetrap rapper until random niggas AND chicks started rapping along bar for bar wit brodie.

Trap is going insane out in the 757 and Richmond

As with NC I was at an open rap show and it had all dif styles of rappers, lyrical miracle, to sing rappers to non lyrical niggas but trap was the most popular outlet for the majority of the artists. It was a very competitive scene cuz the witty punchline trap rappers had the crowd the most hype, a lot of the rappers were gang members, 3 crips were on stage rappin and the rest of the venue was bloods, dj said “tonight blue and red will make purple”

Then it got really f***ing crowded, f*** ton a people showed up . Decided something was bout to pop off so I left.

Trap goin hard in the south East

Was just there. Studios seem locked in only issue imo is most are cliqued up. Should be able to solve this issue by networking and get out of the hating on each other era. It's abundant enough for everyone to grow

I could be wrong and haven't discovered other open-like-minded creatives

Word on LA, would have been sick to make music there but it changed as of recent

How's TX? Miami seems good vibes house music, dj scene. Curious about hip hop, rnb, trap etc

You don't hear too many people venturing out from the north to Florida for music

  • was just in detroit and that s*** was surreal, they got a REALLY tight knit community there that big ups one another
