I don’t know, I didn’t grow up with him so maybe that’s it but s*** just sounds like generic trap. And I like some trap but his music doesn’t sound as special as people make it out to be. What am I missing?

EDIT: okay not “trap” fine he’s more just like emo / sc rap but still. All I hear is just mumbles and the same sounding beats. But I’ve only heard a few songs / snippets
