    1. gravity isnt pulling the earth down.
    2. the sun isnt "below" the earth it's to the side
    3. peoples weight on the earth has close to no effect on the earths mass, therefore close to no effect on our distance to the sun

    He’s lying and your theory was almost correct but it didn’t account for digestion. Earth gets lighter when it poops so we basically stay in the same position.

    basically every object ever has a gravitational pull right. if something has mass it has gravity. but its only at immense size/mass that we see the effects like a moon or planet.

    so yes the more mass the earth has, the more we pull other objects, but since the Sun is much "heavier", it pulls us. so in order to see a significant approach to the sun, the sun would need to get heavier not us
