When people just post memes 15 minutes into albums after they released.

When most albums these days are single driven and lack quality throughout its entirety.

When y’all complain about albums longer than 15 songs.

When the hottest music is just made into a playlist on streaming services instead of promoting the entire album?

When new music is leaked and constantly released every day?

    Are albums dead?

For white validation from the grammys/Pulitzer/pitchfork

I assume you are talking about rap, but that’s just the reality of it becoming the new pop.

Even then mainstream artists drop fire “albums” look at Ty dolla sign like every track plays into the next or interludes and it’s all pretty great.

There’s still albums where artists take care of pacing and “cohesion”

  • Nov 7, 2020

westside gunn dropping albums every two weeks

  • People are still music fans U r looking to Twitter for actual critique instead of memes & that’s on you bro
