I feel like the Israel-Palestinian conflict has a part to play in this too. People aren't separating the actions of the Israeli government from regular Jews. The majority of Jews don't even agree with Israel's actions either, at least from my experience.

Most white people (especially white men) in America already feel that media portrays them as racists and think of themselves as the real racist.
