Like im talking that specific brand of person that ive been noticing since the pandemic started. It’s like their whole personality is about “preventing covid”. Im not talking in any legitimate way but to the point of irrationality.

I’m double vaxxed, 80% of people in my country are. Compared to most of the world we did pretty well in general. Currently most of the remaining cases are circulating through the unvaxxed (anti-vaxxers are an even worse brand of people btw) but then u got these people who are constantly trying to resist people resuming any semblance of normal functioning life (still with masks and regular ofc) like bruh do yall want us to be locked up for the next 5 years

My roommate is like this. We only party weekends but every f***ing weekend he says something bout “covid fest” like bro wtf are you talking about like your scientifically just wrong. Where we live has one of the lowest per capita rates. Canada basically has a vaccine mandate (you cant do s*** without it), the hospitals are clear etc like this is the “normal” we’ve literally been trying to get to

Maybe they’ve lost someone due to people being careless over Covid. Maybe the pandemic has affected their bottom line or social life dramatically. Not everyone could freeload off unemployment and party cause of no fear of being around people suspectable to the virus.

Yes but it’s literally not lethal and still wayyyy lower chance of actual infecting someone if ur vaxed

But life has to resume to a reasonably safe extent

Going out on a weekend living in a place of 15 million people with about 600/cases per week is reasonably safe

People are scared and the constant fear mongering on the internet isnt helping anyone.

Some oeople value their life so much even a .10 percent chance of them dying scares them. i have a friend who couldn’t get enough of the bars and s*** pre covid and now I can’t get him to even go to the casino cause his cousin died of COVID and he’s Vaxxed.

Can’t get mad at people for that.

i have friends that lost sense of taste and smell becaus of covid and i also heard erectile dysfunction is possible so yeah im not taking my chances
