It’s in my DNA cause my pops liked to get f***ed up the same way

  • It’s true. As a child you unconsciously model yourself after your parent’s behavior. Also if your parents are naturally prone to addiction their kids tend to be. My dad has been smoking, drinking, and gambling for as long as I can remember. I’ve made a promise to myself that I will never smoke cigarettes because of this. I know if I did I would instantly become addicted.

I think it’s true as tokyo said you subconsciously develop character from your parents actions and situations you were in as a child. Does it mean that every kid will grow up to be like their parents? No. But if a kid were to have d*** addict parents it’s likely they’re gonna develop d*** issues and bad mental health. Those same people can grow to overcome it and do great things though, and in a way that still makes it true

u look up to the ppl who ur told to look up to. siblings included
I can think of 5 ways I'm just like my big brother and like 10 instances where my little siblings acted/talked like me
it depends on experiences. if they act like so and so and end up being confronted about it that'll either remove them from it (the habit that they copied from an older relative) or make them want to do it more
    speaking generally and from experience
