I hate seeing people go to jail. Except people who need to be there. Serial killers, rapists, pedos, etc.

I do think prisons need to be more rehabilitative, and not like a “con college”

People shouldn’t go to prison and have to worry about their life / commit more crimes to survive.

They should go to prison and rehabilitate through programs and therapy, if their situation calls for it

Some people are past rehAbilitation though, and we have to acknowledge that. Some people are just evil, and it would be a disservice to humanity to have them back in society

Prison reform is in order. Namely for d*** addicts. That’s really all

The rest they can keep tho

White conservatives with a schizophrenic relationship with police. On one hand its "play stupid games, win stupid prizes", "blue lives matter", and "if he just obeyed the police he would have been fine" yet on the other hand its "we shooting cops if they come for the guns", "government is corrupt", and 'don't tread on me' bumper stickers

They are not though, criminals just find more f***ed up ways to keep the crimes underground.
That's the reasons d*** cartels are a thing.

I'm not talking about highly organized crime. I'm not worried about that because those people rarely attack innocents. The cartel is largely irrelevant where I live.

I'm talking about petty crooks and hooligans who assault, rob, harass, and sometimes murder civilians minding their business. The more locked up the better.

You gonna have to tell me because my first point rings true for me. I've never once been worried about highly organized crime in my life. I don't mean the bottom-feeding gangs comprised of clowns. I'm talking like the mafia which is still around today in my city. They don't bother anyone.

And I don't see how theres any errors in the second point either. If someone is robbing, attacking, or killing innocent people then lock em up.

Has it occurred to you for a minute that the ones actually running these organizations are essentially using those desperate for money to do the dirt.

So while you're getting the pitchfork from your comfortable house for a dad of a family to be arrested, that disposable dad will be replaced by the next victim of wealth disparity.

Guess who's the perfect candidate for the next crime? The sons that got their dad arrested.

Now you can grab the pitchfork again and hope that the judge throws the book at them too.

The streets are safer now, problem solved.

    God bless the private prisons.
