I got all the genres man my brother heavy into right wing Conspiracies, my sis one of those spiritual new age/astrology girls, and my mom just got spooked by facebook. Much of my family just don't trust doctors either (for better and for worse)

My mom was very against the vaccine, and was begging me not to get it. It got repetitive so I told her to stop bringing it up cuz she won't change my mind. I could tell she was just worried about my health so i also wanted to avoid any heated arguments. She changed her mind after seeing that I got it and was fine.

Then there's my bro don't really talk to this nigga in general but especially about serious things like this. At first he thought the virus wasn't real, then that it's real but it ended, and now it's real and hasn't ended but the vaccine is fake/ a weapon. Always gon deny if u bring up his past theories lol.

Anyways he's shocked and asks me why I would get the vaccine. I tell him that I don't want to pay twice a week for covid test like my school requires, and I don't want to catch COVID. He tells me it's not severe and I agree, but I still rather not get it. He just can't wrap his mind around this for some reason. It's also wild to him that I wouldn't pay twice a week for a test instead of just getting a free shot, to which I just shrug cuz it seems obvious to me.

Your mum is brainwashed by facebook and now just worried abt you while your brother is in denial of the virus' existence and hasn't left the first stage of grief in 2 years

My antivax side of the family is banned from my crib. They ass be stupid as f*** b. This go be interesting cause I’m planning my first thanksgiving dinner and I know it’s gonna go sideways cause the family is going to be divided. But you can only use the “I need to do more research” for so long before you need to just say it with your chest you don’t wanna take it. That’s cool, but you’re not coming around me and granny when she pull up cause she’s the most at risk given her health problems.

Hey bro, as anti vax as I am, there's no reason for there to be a divide in your family over something petty n quite meaningless as this situation.

The vaccine extends towards a deeper concept and you shouldn't let this divide your family relationship. That bond you've had your entire life is greater than a vaccine. That's the bigger picture.

Continuously love your family even if you disagree with them. A house divided cannot stand.

Statically, there have been hella divorces and separations amongst families since the pandemic, don't let your fam be that static.

Lead with the same love you've had your whole life. That goes ore everyone reading this. Peace

For me it’s the opposite. I’m not antivax but I’m the only one in my family that hasn’t taken the covid vaccine. I was in support of them taking the vaccine cause they have comorbidities. At first they really pressed me to take it, but now there ok with it

That's the point of the post. No need for division. I'm against this vaccine because I knew of this situation before it took place. The pandemic didn't take me by surprise. As much as I relayed the message based on Scriptures, people didn't take it seriously. Do u.

I'm blessed that all my immediate family aren't anti-vax

I'd just let them deal with the consequences.

You right tbh but I just think it’s selfish because some of the issues people know about with certain people and all that. Like bro some of my cousins do d*** d**** but scared to take the vaccine I personally don’t wanna be like that cause I wanna build and fix s*** at least for my generation and the future ones cause we not as tight as before but it’s just bogus in my personal opinion to move that way.

This is honestly sad bro, like what if they take a covid test before they come and they’re negative? You breaking up ur family for what

I can get a gang of covid tests from the job, if they’re willing to take tests on the spot and not act like babies, then I can work with them. That didn’t even cross my mind, ppreciate ya for that one.

    It’s wack af bro

Idec that they’re antivax honestly (i think it’s dumb but it’s their choice ig) but it created a divide between everyone in my family and it’s sad as hell cause I grew up close to all my cousins/uncles/aunts etc. Prob the worst thing to come from the pandemic for me personally
