It is. BMI is nothing more than a screening tool. Body fat percentage is a much better indicator of general health.
The funny thing is that right now we have an obesity crisis and that’s based on BMI which actually underreports overweight/obese people.
If we measured by body fat percentage the amount of people categorized as overweight/obese would INCREASE
America is truly f***ed. We need an obesity tax asap
