I was in middle school when Hey Ya was at its peak but it took until high school, when you could still hook your ipod up to a friends Mac and just sync all their s*** seamlessly, to hear an album from them in full - which was Southernplayalistic. And it just clicked immediately, idk why more people aren’t super into it because a southern-fried Midnight Marauders is a beautiful thing
