Quarantine is a weak remake tbh. Has none of the charms in the original

There are much worse remakes of foreign horror films tbh. It's just whatever in comparison to the OGs which are amazing

What makes it work is that you can watch it as a drama cause the main chick actually gives a really good performance

I really liked it actually, despite the lead actress being kinda not great. might have to check out REC. I saw the third one years ago bc it didn't have the found footage gimmick and thought it was decent.
