If he wins, what would his domestic, and foreign policy be in your opinion? His economic policy? Is he pulling out of Ukraine? Is he going to keep interest rates high? Is he building the wall? Is he going to bomb Iran?
    Is fascism a realistic possibility?

Well first of all it would totalize and finalize the equation of the person of Donald Trump with the Republican Party. For the next several decades no non-MAGA Republican would be able to hope for national prominence. Kind of brazy considering a decade ago he was a non-factor politically

Do you think that would push democrats more the right or embrace the progressives

Neither really, I don't even think it will necessarily push the GOP more to the "right" or more in a populist direction in a substantive way. You'll just say whatever and append "Trump is great" or "Trump is bad" and you'll be good. I definitely do think it will entrench the divide though and make it more hostile.

domestic gonna be as much of the anti-CRT/LGBTQ wave he's been campaigning on cause he knows his base likes it but I'm not sure what else he'll do federally that hasn't already been done by the states

I honestly can't predict what Trump will do that will be worse than Biden, other than maybe some more reactionary social policy, I guess he can appoint certain positions that f*** s*** up domestically like the cabinet heads and all that

Biden's foreign policy is horseshit, I think the wall is close to being finished anyway by his admin... (if u kept up with the wall/border s*** pls update me)

It’s seems most view this as an extension of the status quo
    Very minor change

  • He'll withdraw support for Ukraine.. but not because he wants to.. it'll be because Russia will have accomplished its goals within 4 years.

this is what I have trouble rectifying myself

one one hand, I really can't vote for BIden due to his Israel policies, while on the other I def can't vote for Trump because he would accelerate the genocide.

alhamdulilah I life in CA so me voting third party doesn't matter, but apart of me feels the need to "defend" the "lesser" evil due to people having self defetest attitudes.

  • I dislike the fact that more minorites have changed their opinion of Trump to be more positive after the fact.

My best friend/boss (both Mexican) were trying to tell me that Trump really wasn't "that" bad and how they really wanted him back, and you know I actually almost get it. With my boss, he's a landlord for his side hustle/my best friend is a blue collar worker with 5+ mouths to feed. From a "less" educated background (not saying that in a derogatory way by any means, more so the ideals higher education offers in terms of critical thinking is kinda lost on them), it's easy to rectify that Trump wasn't as bad as progressive liberals said he would be (relatively, I don't agree but thats another discussion) while recognizing the economy has gotten worse since Biden has been elected, why not go back to the "same old, same old"/"Making America Great Again"

While I get it, it makes me sad because he's really not the answer and will make it harder for our kids to engage politically once they realize that Trump is also full of s***/can/will enact policies that seem great for the time being, but detrimental as a collective.

well not many thought it was possible, but Biden has been a dramatically worse president than Trump, so I imagine Trump is gonna do his best to take the crown back
