Yea I’m still in school and it would be nice to have a lowkey job during the demanding school year
I worked at the library during school
so chill would do like 10 hours a week with 1-3 hour shifts in between classes lol
only like $10/hr tho
a nice home
most decent houses are at LEAST 400k in my area now when they were like 150-200 around 2020. A single family 3 bedroom small but nice house is now like 500-600k m so it would be like 3.5-4k a month
do you have a family that requires that housing? or are you in a dual-income relationship?
and also it took me literally one search to find a nice home that size in Dallas for 265k
anywhere between $500-$9,999,999
I sell and buy insta/twitter @'s
What's the last @ you sold
Mind if I ask what programs you’re good at?
I know SQL and tableau and can’t find a 6 figure a***ytics job in NYC.
Tough market right now closest offer I got was 90k and I turned it down because the company seemed ridiculous
honestly not much
Java, SQL, and tableau but i haven’t touched either since college
all my jobs are mainly project management roles where a requirement will be to have an understanding of the languages to write functional requirements for the dev team, but I’ve never really interfaced with any of it lol

job hop
idc what anyone says (even though i’ve only done this once, but plan to do it again this year). Also don’t be afraid to apply to s*** you’re not qualified for and learn on the job. I had 0 internships in college. I feel like I just got super lucky. I worked for Apple doing essentially tech support during college working from home part time. They paid my tuition and I would use my FAFSA money to pay for housing/food so I was able to graduate a year early with no debt. Leveraged having Apple on my resume and landed a new grad role at blue cross blue shield and then job hopped to where I am now exactly a year later.
salary progression:
College (2018-2020): $18/hr part time
2021: 63k plus 10k in bonus as a New Grad business a***yst
Present: Business a***yst within Tech at 105k plus bonus
now I’m trying to jump ship for 115k-150k. Only thing holding me back is my daily tasks rn because I deadass only do like 5 hours of work a week at most rn

damn having a guarantee like that is nice
also just random game for anyone in general working in the corporate world. Here’s how I landed like 5 offers a year back.
1. Find company you want to work at
2. Find role
3. Search linkedin for “company name” + “recruiter”
4. Send a personalized invite (not just a normal request) saying you want to connect to learn about their role and the company blah blah blah
5. Once they accept, say you saw they were hiring for a ____ and thought yoh would be a great fit. Ask if they have time to speak more regarding information over the role. They’ll usually ask for a resume if theyre nice and the ball will roll from there
