i think its better tbh, the backstory is honestly heartbreaking with layne basically being on his death bed (he'd survive 6 more years but u no what i mean) and the music is outstanding

They're a straight up great band. I like everything they put out even with the black metal vocals as a hurdle. That's not my thing.

my main issue with the album is I have tinnitus so those fuzzy ass guitars make it unbearable to listen to for 40 minutes
