I used to use Apple’s “Birdsong” alarm, which just sounds like a bunch of birds chirping in the morning

But then I thought about it…

I think I was starting to associate the negative emotions of being woken up with birds chirping

So I changed it to “Helios”, which is kind of annoying, but it doesn’t really sound like anything else.

The guitar iphone one since 2011. It’s calm enough to not shock me awake so it works pretty well for an alarm
