@DAVIDP u think those kids were in an environment where rock climbing and healthy activities are readily available and attractive to them?

Not everybody got the same opportunities and I feel like they were all 2 sides of the same coin cause they were both trying 2 be in the streets running around with d**** and guns and s***, thinking they were hot s***, now they threw their life away.

But they might not have had any guidance and they just look up to what's cool to them i.e. gangster s*** / rappers / these images being sold 2 them with no alternatives

even I can't help but listen 2 certain music and be conflicted cause it's some violent s*** but so beautifully expressed. only wrong s*** is these kids growing up thinking THAT is the thing to be....

It's like nah, that image is what they're selling to get OUT of the reality of it to have a chance at living longer and not have to be paranoid all day

unfortunately unless u go deep with the introspection, u just end up glorifying that s*** further

I completely understand what you're saying, kids without guidance don't know any better and that's 100% the truth. They were never told NOT to do something and since they consume all kinds of media nowadays that "expresses it beautifully" like you said (whcih is true) yeah that's entirely what it is.

It's 100% true it's f***ed up kids don't have the same opportunities when it comes to stuff like this. I know s*** like rock climbing isn't going to be available to some people, and it's truly systematic racism that sets up some of these people for failure.

At this point I think me and you are honestly arguing the same thing, I just meant that if you have opportunities and are in a good living situation, I don't see why putting yourself into street s*** is a good idea... that was pretty much my entire point.
