You go to your podcast app of choice
You pick one that interests you
Boom. The episode is 1h30min long...
I tried listening to podcasts while working on my computer but I lose track of what they are talking about like 5 seconds after I start doing something
You can listen to them while you work out or whatever but that's like 20 minutes? And sometimes you need music to motivate you...
Listen to podcasts while riding a bus is a good one but with covid going on that's like once a week you get to do that
How do you manage to be up to date with your podcasts??
And when you're working out don't you find it hard to give it your best when there's someone talking in your ear instead of Travis Scott "The Plan" blasting at high volume?
i only ever listen while drawing/painting. it's very relaxing and stops me from overthinking what i'm doing

That's actually amazing I can imagine that
Wish I had more artistic talent

it's never too late to start! one of my friends picked up digital art a few years ago after a lifetime of saying she had no talent for drawing, and now she's great at it

Do you practice digital art or physical?

i'm way more confident with traditional art, particularly pencil drawing and oil/acrylic paint, but recently i've been having a lot of fun sketching in photoshop (so many more possibilities!!)
it's very fun but it looks kinda stiff and awkward
i almost wanna go on a limb and say digital art is easier to pick up if you have minimal experience with traditional art, cause the process is so different that it's probably better to just learn that medium from scratch without any preconceived notions about "how to art" getting in your way
at work to keep me occupied
Don't you find it hard to concentrate on podcasts when you're working on something else?

Thanks for the tip
There's a new docu series coming out on HBO in like 6 days that's all about painting but presented in a unconventional way maybe it'd be something you're interested in
I know I'm not a painter but I'm 100% watching this
Also f*** it maybe I really should at least try it this year instead of just talking

my work is in data entry so no not really. it can become distracting at times tho when the podcasts are really good
Thanks for the tip

ooooh thanks for telling me i'll definitely check it out!💛
imagine not listening to them at 2x speed
during showers, when i’m walking my dog and/or when i get tired of listening to music i switch over
spotify makes it convenient cause it’s in the app & all you gotta do is swipe but if i used apple music i probably wouldn’t listen as often cause it’s a separate app
At home or the gym
for real
no time for that nonsense
any commute i make to work or anything i listen to music because it usually sets a specific tone for me
That's actually amazing I can imagine that
Wish I had more artistic talent
Talent doesn’t exist, there’s only skill. Never too late to pick up the brush or the pencil and learn bro
