Am I the only one that feels like YB, Gunna, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Nav etc. are yet to drop a classic project? Like they just overload their albums with tracks and features from the same exact artists to get their streaming numbers up and go #1?

They all have great songs but at what point do they prove their potential? Remember that albums like Reasonable Doubt, Illmatic, Barter 6 (mixtape), Rodeo, Food and Liquor were debut albums. I think if they’re really as great as some say they are it’s about time they drop something that shows their ability as an artist.

Or are the days of polished albums over

Polished albums don't make classics. Everyone you listed has the ability to make a polished album, but they're way too generic (no hate but lets be honest) so even if the album is good, what's going to keep us talking about it? What stands out?

Someone like Young Thug, copied Wayne then turned it into his own style and ended up delivering. So we remember stuff like B6. And stuff like Jefferey and EBBTG too where he experimented with new sounds and flows.
