i personally don’t see a problem with using it when it comes to cleaning up audio and other technical aspects (i.e. Peter Jackson and the Beatles), but some people would argue it’s not authentic and audio should be preserved in the state that’s it in.

I think it’s useful for like someone like Beanie who’s performing voice is destroyed and now he’s able to create an album again

But aside from that, I think the aspect you’re referring to can be misused as now it gets recreated in a way the artist never intended

real creators find ways to incorporate new methods into their art always
