I’m still working remote, my lease ends in June so I just booked an AIRBNB in Miami for that whole month. Think I might go to Mexico or Colombia after that. I’m just gonna keep traveling around as long as I’m able to work remote. I’m sick of wasting time at home.

After my christmas break it just hit me very hard. Don't know why. It hit my brother at the same time too.

Both had not taken any holidays off of work in over a year, after that christmas holiday (even though we just stayed at home) we immediately wanted to take days off again a week later.

You should probably judge people on a little more than just some clickbaity headlines. If vaccinations go as planned by sometime this summer will probably be the point where you start to see him talk about mask removals. He's always been very hesitant about giving yes or no answers either way.

If you’re on a Western Hemisphere time zone rn then go to Bali, Indonesia. Its paradise out there, pretty cheap, and exact opposite time. Just gotta make sure you can get a good internet connection.

yeah I'd be worried about the remote connection since I work in news and s*** usually needs a really quick turnaround (i.e if I lose connection the channel gets f***ed).

Yea thats the biggest struggle with international remote work. If you do some research ahead of time you can probably find some good options tho. Hotspots, AIRBNBs with highly rated WiFi, etc.

After I went to a party on the 4th of July last year I realized that nobody’s actually taking it seriously, even all the people that pretend like they do on social media because they want to seem like they care about others.

Life is pretty normal other than no public events/concerts and having to wear a mask in stores. If people really thought covid was a serious threat to them then they wouldn’t be leaving their home in the first place.
