No s***, but there's a difference between an acronym and initialism. Acronyms can later become words on their own as years pass, this is a common thing in most languages.

when it moved to this site it got used as ktt2 - its taking taking the acronym only to capture the site as a whole rather than making it about Kanye

I see what people are trying to say, KTT (the word & forum) became a thing of it's own but OP is also right in that ''KTT'' comes from ''kanye​tothe'' even though the site that we are on now isn't a Kanye site anymore.. it's just a forum with roots in hiphop discussions but it evolved past that it doesn't even have the Kanye news page and stuff anymore that used to be the homepage of the previous site
