Sometimes its meet ups I think it was a popular voice actor who got called out over abuse and some of his victims said that it was as simple as a parent going to the bathroom and him just hitting on em while they were gone.
It's easy to blame parents but it's like all it takes is a second and you feel naturally a teen can be trusted by themself.
People are more protective of children then teens in general so that feeds into it.
