She’s already a legend, but where do you see her career going next 5 years? Retire? Drop a couple more albums?

She’ll just be a legacy act at this point. She’s already made her mark in hip hop as the GOAT female rapper, no matter how many people are better than her either before or after her time.

Probably like how Beyoncé's is now

  • She’s hit her ceiling in terms of popularity but will continue to be a mainstay by virtue of a mature and dedicated fanbase.

Will also be a nice legacy feature to have on remixes of songs from popular new rappers

Yeah I agree, do you think she’ll reach any of the same successes as before?

No, all areas of entertainment have a bias against women as they age, rap is no different

No more than someone like Nas would reach in this era. She’s got a very dedicated fanbase though, that’s what separates her.

    📉

  • Feb 4, 2022

Y'all underestimating her fanbase she will be like Em in her 40s, hated by hip-hop community but killing the charts as usual.

I mean music in general is a young people thing. Because even in music, once men get to certain age nobody wants to hear them

I honestly think Nicki will fall back because she’s a mom now. Much like what Bey did when became a mother. Granted I know Nicki is more active on social media than Beyonce ever was. However I don’t she’ll making a ton of music.

you really think the self-proclaimed Queen of Rap would step down from her throne?

she’s shown time and time again she lacks self-awareness to an absurd degree. she won’t go that easily

    same but see post above
